U11 Evaluation #1

The second evaluation involves skill drills with and without pucks.

The drills will involve agility, stick handling, tight turns, shooting, passing, and speed both forwards and backwards.  Efforts will be made to allow each player at least a few opportunities at each drill.

A player's final score for this evaluation will be scores given by our independent evaluators off the ice who will be looking at technique and overall proficiency in performing the drills.

Player movement will occur following the completion of Evaluation 1.

U11 - Evaluation #4

U13 evaluation #4 will be comprised of a short warm up for players and then a scrimmage for the duration of the ice time. Evaluators will be scoring players based on skating skill, ice awareness, passing/shooting, competitiveness and overall hockey sense.

Following the final evaluation players will be distributed into parity teams within their cohorts. Players are not able to move up (or down) between cohorts at this point in the process, but player rankings will include scores from our game-play evaluation. Final rankings will be utilized to distribute players onto mini-teams for the Development Season. Those rankings will also be used to create tiered teams for the second half of the season. Depending on restrictions, the intent for the second half of the season is to continue with a mini-team format with game play against other associations or to move to a full Regular Season as we have in normal years.

*Please note that while scoring goals is important, it will not be a significant factor in determining a players' final mark during this evaluation.

By locating your individual player ID number for the evaluations you will be able to confirm the proper evaluation times to attend and verify the position at which the player is to be evaluated. This page will be updated as soon as possible after the completion of each evaluation - check back here to confirm the times and dates of your next evaluation.

The Crowfoot Hockey website is the only form of notification for ice times, and each player is responsible for checking the website regularly to obtain their ice times for upcoming evaluation sessions. Missed ice times will result in the player being ranked at the bottom of the ranking for that session.

Note that full equipment, including mouth and neck guards is required for all sessions.
